SERVICE 06

Web design and development

A website is not a brochure and it is not a portfolio piece. It is the single asset every other channel depends on, and when it is slow, unmeasured or structurally confused, everything you spend upstream is discounted by it.

We build sites that are fast, accessible, structured for search and instrumented from the first day they go live. Analytics, schema and conversion tracking are part of the build rather than a task somebody is meant to do afterwards and never does.

What is usually wrong with the site we inherit

These are not exotic faults. They are what happens when a site is built to be approved rather than built to be measured.

Built for the client, not the buyer

The structure mirrors the company org chart rather than the way a customer decides. Buyers hunt for pricing, proof and a way to ask a question, and each of those is two clicks further away than it should be.

One page doing the work of many

Every service crammed onto a single page, so search engines cannot tell what it is about and buyers cannot tell whether you do their specific thing. It competes for everything and ranks for nothing.

Never instrumented

No conversion tracking, no event design, no source attribution on the enquiry form. The site produces leads that nobody can trace, which makes every budget decision downstream a matter of opinion.

Slow on the devices that matter

Desktop scores look acceptable and mobile is where the customers are. Uncompressed hero images, render blocking scripts and a page builder loading assets for widgets the page does not use.

Assets and links that quietly rot

Files hotlinked from a developer test server or a theme demo, buttons that all point at the same URL, forms that fail silently on certain browsers. Nothing looks broken, so nobody reports it.

What we actually do

Built on whichever stack fits the business rather than the one we prefer selling, and handed over documented.

Structure and information architecture

Page structure designed around how buyers actually decide, with a separate page for each thing you want to be found for and internal linking that reflects real relationships.

Conversion-first design

One primary action per page, objections answered in the order they arise, and proof placed where the doubt occurs. Pricing or a price range wherever the business can support publishing one.

WordPress, Webflow or headless

Chosen against your team’s ability to maintain it, not against what is fashionable. A site your marketer can update beats a faster one that needs a developer for every word change.

Core Web Vitals

Image strategy, script loading, font delivery, caching and hosting configuration, targeted at real mobile devices on Indian networks rather than a synthetic desktop score.

Accessibility

Semantic markup, keyboard navigation, contrast and screen reader behaviour. It widens your addressable audience and it happens to be exactly what machines need in order to read a page properly.

Schema and technical SEO baked in

Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Product, FAQ and Article markup implemented at build time, so the site is legible to search engines and AI assistants from launch.

Analytics wired on day one

GA4, server-side tagging, consent mode, event design and source attribution on every form, live before launch rather than added later once the data has already been lost.

How the engagement runs

01 Audit and architecture

Review of the current site against speed, structure, measurement and conversion, followed by a proposed architecture and a page-by-page plan. Findings quantified and ranked, free.

02 Design and build

Design applied to the highest-value templates first, then built. Content, schema and tracking are produced alongside the build rather than retrofitted afterwards.

03 Instrument and launch

Analytics, consent, redirects, forms and search console configured and tested. A pre-launch checklist covering redirects and tracking, because most launch damage is done in that hour.

04 Monitor and iterate

Post-launch monitoring of speed, indexing, conversions and errors, then continuous improvement against the leak register rather than a redesign in three years.

What you get

A site built on a stack your team can maintain, with documentation and a training session.

Core Web Vitals in the green on mobile, tested on real devices and real connection speeds.

Schema implemented and validated at build time across every relevant page type.

Analytics, consent and source attribution live before launch, so no data is lost in the first weeks.

A redirect map and launch checklist, executed and verified rather than assumed.

Full ownership of code, hosting, domain, accounts and design files, in your name from the outset.

Who this is for

Worth doing when

Your site is slow, structurally confused or unmeasured, and it is holding back everything you spend upstream. A rebuild pays for itself fastest when paid media is already running into it.

Probably not yet when

Your positioning and content are undecided. Building before you know what the site should say produces a handsome shell that gets rewritten within a year, twice the cost for one result.

A common mistake

Treating analytics as a post-launch task. Tracking added weeks after go-live means the first weeks of data, usually the most informative, are gone permanently.

Questions we get about this

A focused marketing site with the structure and content already decided typically runs six to ten weeks. What extends timelines is almost never the build; it is content and approvals, so we agree a content plan before the design starts.

It depends on who maintains it. WordPress suits teams who want to edit freely and have someone technical available. Webflow suits smaller teams wanting control without a developer. Headless suits products with an engineering team. We recommend against the ones that would leave you stuck.

Often, yes, and frequently that is the better call. Structure, speed, schema and measurement can usually be fixed on an existing build for a fraction of a rebuild. The audit will tell you honestly which is the better investment.

You do. Code, hosting, domain, analytics and design files are all in your name, with documentation and a handover call. Nothing is held on our accounts and nothing is licensed back to you.

We can. Content and creative is a separate discipline on this site, and for a build we would normally recommend the two run together, because writing a page and designing it as separate exercises is what produces sites that look good and say nothing.

Find out whether to rebuild or repair

The free audit covers speed, structure, schema, measurement and conversion, and gives you a straight answer on whether a rebuild is justified or whether your money is better spent elsewhere.
